I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University. I am a member of the Dynamical Systems and Control Laboratory under the direction of Professor Louis Whitcomb.


  • System Engineer at SAIC (now Leidos) Maritime Systems Solution Division, 2011-2013. Lead engineer on the power management and vessel management systems for DARPA's Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Continuous Trail Unmanned Vessel (ACTUV)
  • System Engineering Intern at SAIC, 2009-2011. Four 8-week summer/winter internships during which I assisted senior systems engineers in developing multiple physics-based, time-domain simulations of autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) dynamics and control.


  • B.S. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (double major), Webb Institute, Glen Cove, NY, 2011.
